Do you know what a CSP is?
In 2005, Betsy Hjelmgren received her CSP credential. CSP is short for Certified Specialist in Pediatric nutrition. To achieve this credential, a dietitian must work more than 2,000 hours in the field of pediatric nutrition (Betsy has logged well over 12,000) and pass a national board exam administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
Betsy Hjelmgren is one of only four CSP’s in the state of Illinois currently in private practice. For over a decade, Betsy has worked in the pediatric nutrition field, working with literally thousands of children at Children's Memorial Hospital, Rush Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center Children's Hospital and as the founder of Feed To Succeed, LLC. As a mother of two, Betsy also puts into practice at home what she teaches to her clients!
How can Betsy help your child?
Betsy has extensive experience with a wide variety of childhood nutrition issues, including general healthy eating, picky eaters, poor growth, preemies, kidney disease, childhood cancers, type 1 diabetes, cystic fibrosis, food allergy, Celiac disease in children, other GI disorders including reflux and Crohn’s disease, obesity, and many more.
If you have questions or concerns about your child’s nutrition, Betsy can help you solve the problem!
